Gas CO2 lasers achieve 15% wall plug efficiency

IPG Photonics’ new range of CO2 gas lasers operate in the 10.6-μm spectral range without output from 1 to 3 kW. A patented laser generator allows output power to increase without affecting beam optical quality and produce modes from TEM00 to TEM01, including D modes.
